The Streaming Giant Selects Spot-On Star for Bon Clay in the Hit Series Season 3

The Secret Organization is set to play a huge role in Netflix’s upcoming season of One Piece, even if the real showdown won’t take place until season 3, and a adored, popular member has recently been selected.

The platform declared recently that the skilled actor is now part of the One Piece upcoming season’s lineup and will embody Bon Clay. This character has the ability to morph into an identical duplicate of any person they’ve touched with their right hand. The actor, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, will portray a version of that figure reimagined as gender non-binary, as opposed to as a drag artist, in the live-action show, as in the source material and animated series.

This performer will work alongside multiple recently announced actors who will portray the organization to reality, such as chief Mr. 0, portrayed by Joe Manganiello, Sophia Anne Caruso as Miss Goldenweek, and a familiar face, who also joins the cast as King Nefertari Cobra of the desert kingdom.

Even though Bon Clay is a major member of the organization, the persona won’t appear until One Piece the third season. Considering the next season set to cover the Little Garden storyline, this marks a notable change in the schedule of Bon Clay’s introduction, one that could signal further changes to the story’s structure.

The actor’s combination of precise humor and emotional depth makes them a ideal selection for the role. Besides their current animated role in the animated coming-of-age film Boys Go to Jupiter, they earned widespread acclaim and numerous honors for creating and performing in the popular theatrical show Oh Mary!, highlighting the range they’ll contribute to one of One Piece’s highly regarded characters.

Netflix's live-action One Piece program is due to premiere for its second season on March 10, 2026.
