Tehran is prepared to restart nuclear talks with Washington as long as it is handled with "dignity" and "honor", Iran's foreign minister has announced.

The Iranian diplomat said exclusively dialogue worked, and shared fresh requests had been made by mediators to resume talks with the US government. He said Iran had zero secret atomic facilities, and Tehran could not yet permit the International Atomic Energy Agency to visit bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Walking a Challenging Route

The foreign minister is navigating a difficult course since Iran does not want be perceived to be operating from a situation of weakness, and he insisted repeatedly that Iran had arisen more resilient defensively and mentally from the Israeli-US attack on its enrichment centers in June.

He was talking at a defense forum in Tehran where he reaffirmed that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to enrich uranium domestically that it will always maintain" – the key factor of the deadlock in the earlier negotiations.

Earlier Discussions Abruptly Terminated

The earlier sessions of negotiations between the US and Iran were brought to an abrupt and hostile termination on 12 June when Israel, with US support, struck Iranian nuclear sites in a two-week conflict that ended with the American leader asserting the locations had been destroyed. Subsequently, Western states exercised their authority to reinstate global restrictions, but Iran maintains they have not had a major impact.

Perfect Agreement Suggested

Tehran representatives said they felt they had achieved a "ideal resolution" to the uranium processing matter in earlier negotiations, when it was settled an domestic cooperative with Washington's engagement could process nuclear material. Both sides would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be confident that Iran's enrichment initiative was exclusively peaceful.

It had not been settled in the discussions that US nuclear scientists could function inside Iran, but that was a logical implication of the consortium proposal. Representatives asserted on multiple occasions they had reached agreement with Trump's special envoy Steve Witkoff only for the agreement to disintegrate due to "detractors in America".

Existing Status

Iran's diplomats said the partnership proposal was now no longer available, but it seems very probable the suggestion could be resurrected in certain ways if talks restart.

The American leader last week said he had been receiving messages that Iran wanted to reopen negotiations, but in private Iranian officials say they are not yet receiving coherent offers from the United States either explicitly or from important Middle Eastern intermediaries, such as Qatar, the Egyptian leadership, Oman and the Saudi kingdom. The Iran's state department has been criticized of inactivity in the face of the US president's straightforward manner, but Iran states diplomacy is not part of a spectacle.

Political Standpoint

In his remarks to the forum, aimed to depict the US as a hegemonic power that misuses the idea of worldwide standards, Araghchi said the two-week conflict showed the dispute could not be resolved by combat operations. He said the attacks commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an total Iran submission and culminated with an unconditional call for a truce.

Iran is assured the opening assaults from Tel Aviv were carried out with full US knowledge and collaboration, making confidence difficult to rebuild.

Negotiations Continues the Primary Answer

The foreign minister declared: "It was not Iran that had fled negotiations; it was the United States and the Western nations that had always sought to dictate their will during the discussions. Dialogue can still be alive and stays the final resolution to resolve disputes, but its standards, rules and tenets must be respected."

Repair and Reconstruction

In what is described by Iranian officials as the struggle of restoration and rebuilding, Araghchi claimed he was certain Iran's military capacities "are considerably enhanced than prior to 13 or 14 June of this year. Our entire military infrastructure have been reestablished. We learned multiple understandings from this war; we have come to know our personal limitations and the shortcomings of the enemy."

He continued: "We successfully passed this engagement. Our enrichment knowledge, which they intended to obliterate, continues to exist. The installations and machinery, if damaged, will be restored; what is crucial is the determination of the citizens of Tehran and then the social solidarity that they sought to undermine, but were unable to shatter. The citizens of Tehran have become more powerful, more integrated, and more endorsing of the administration and the country in the wake of this assault."
