LA Erupts in Celebration as Los Angeles Dodgers Claim Second World Series Victory
Los Angeles witnessed widespread festivities after the Los Angeles Dodgers clinched a nail-biting seven-game World Series championship. Supporters worldwide united with Angelenos in celebration, marking the initial time in 25 years that a team has achieved consecutive championships.
Victory Parade Attracts Enormous Turnout
Local celebrations included a procession through the city center on the morning of the parade, a reserved-seating event at Dodger Stadium, and spontaneous parties across the city.
Social media videos depict countless of Los Angeles residents packing city center avenues, many carrying handmade banners and team flags. The squad was seen riding high on a double-decker bus through the masses, hoisting the Commissioner’s trophy proudly.
“My focus is already about the third time we’re going to do this,” the star player remarked through an interpreter.
The parade route ended at the stadium, where the team emerged to the rapper’s “Not Like Us,” with DJ Mustard providing music and the artist cruising a light blue vintage Cadillac around the field.

Festivities began well before the parade, with supporters lighting fireworks in the roads of Downtown Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The World Series MVP, awarded the World Series’ Most Valuable Player, spoke directly about the win.
